About Total Com,
Inc.
Who is Total Com, Inc.?
Good Question. Founded in 1993, Total Com, Inc. is a
privately-held corporation based in Omaha, NE. We are not a huge
company with elaborate offices and hundreds of employees. But then
again, we don't have to be. Total Com is a small group of telecom
and internet savvy people that is well capitalized. We have the
ability to plan a marketing campaign with a provider, allocate the
capital to run the campaign, and help assist the long distance
providers handle the customer base.
We partner with long distance
carriers who can convert, provision, and maintain a solid customer
base. So, Total Com, Inc. doesn't need a provisioning office. We
act as a bridge that pays advertising companies to generate long
distance customers for the long distance provider. The capital we
are spending up-front is used to build a long-term customer base
for the future. (Sounds like a better investment than the stock
market right now, doesn't it?) If you want information on becoming

Total Com, Inc. was founded in
1993, and has evolved with the long distance industry. We focus
our efforts on marketing various long distance programs over the
world wide web. We are not a carrier or a reseller, we act as
master sales agents for our long distance providers, and we
develop an on-line marketing campaign to build customer bases with
each provider. Our strengths are the capital we devote to each
marketing campaign, the knowledge and experiences that we use to
effectively market the providers' programs, and the on-line
marketing channels that we create.
Within the turbulent long distance
industry, the smaller long distance providers with the solid
business plans have survived, and they continue to establish
customer bases, as the bigger competitors (AT&T, MCI, etc.)
fail to meet the falling pricing demands. Total Com, Inc.
continually searches the long distance industry to find the
providers that are offering excellent rates and quality back-end
service. We then research these providers to determine if their
level of conversion, provisioning, and retention is acceptable. If
it is, then we promote their services.
We do not partner with AT&T or
MCI, they don't need our assistance to spend money advertising.
But, our providers do, as they realize long distance is a
commodity, and the companies that offer the best rates and quality
service will survive. Since our providers don't spend millions
paying Michael Jordan, Terry Bradshaw, or any other celebrity, to
sell a high rate, they have to rely on agents to market their
services. Hence Total Com, Inc.
